The Berlin Underground Party Tour runs even if only one person books. Group sizes are usually around 10-15 people max to make sure everything runs smoothly.

But it's way easier to handle if you grab a ticket for your preferred Berlin Underground Party Tour date beforehand – that way, you'll already know which club you'll end up at.

The tour guide will share their live location in the WhatsApp group created for the tour at the start, so you can catch up. But please try to be at the Späti 15 minutes before the tour starts if you can, otherwise you'll miss the intro and your party crew will have already gotten to know each other.

The Berlin Underground Party Tour is kind of like a bar crawl or pub crawl, but it's spiced up with extra fun stuff. Your tour guide is actually part of the Berlin techno scene and will give you an awesome peek into this unique subculture. During the tour, your guide will share their experiences from the scene and give you insider tips and tricks on how to get past the bouncer and into a Berlin club. Also, the Berlin Underground Party Tour isn't a standard, repetitive program; we pick the last stop fresh every time to find the best rave of the night. Getting totally wasted isn't the point of the Berlin Underground Party Tour, so we suggest just one drink per spot so you arrive at the club in a good mood, not drunk.

A club ticket usually costs between 10 to 15 Euros. Sometimes it can even be 20 or 25 Euros, depending on when you grab your ticket. But don't sweat it – no matter the club ticket price, your Berlin Underground Party Tour will still be 50.00 Euros.

What's an Awareness Team?
An Awareness Team is a special group of staff at parties whose job is to make sure everyone feels safe and respected. They support people affected by discrimination, sexual violence, or aggressive behavior, offering protection and acting as an easy-to-reach point of contact.

How do I get into the club?
Whether you get into a Berlin club or not is totally up to the bouncer or 'selecteur'. They check if you fit the vibe of the club's crowd. The clubs don't really tell you what their criteria are. From experience, it's often about your 'type' that decides a yes or no. Meaning: How do you come across to them? Does your outfit match your personality, or do you look like you're in fancy dress? Do you react neutrally, friendly, or annoyed to the bouncer's questions? So I can't give you a universal tip on how to get into a Berlin club, but what you definitely should know is which club you want to get into, which label or collective is organizing the rave, and what it's called. If there's a DJ on the lineup you really like, you should know their name. Also, organizational reasons can decide if you get in or not: for example, if there are already too many guys in the club, it'll be tough if you and your buddies queue up. Generally, the later you show up to the party, the harder it is to get in. Big groups aren't usually very welcome, as they can bring a certain vibe to the rave and tend to stick together. What will definitely get you turned away at the door is if you're totally drunk or acting aggressive – in those cases, you'll definitely be denied entry.

What happens if I get turned away at the door?
In the rare event that you don't get into the club on the Berlin Underground Party Tour, we'll find an alternative place for you to party.

What if my friends are already inside the club, but I don't get in?
If your friends are already in the club, they can't get their entry fee back. So, either they come back out and pay entry again at a different club, or just you and the tour guide will party together at another club – but honestly, this almost never happens!

Can't the tour guide talk to the bouncer to get me in?
Nope, the bouncer's decision is final, and there's no arguing with it.

Why was I turned away at the door?
Most bouncers won't tell you the real reason why you didn't get in, and they don't have to. Usually, you'll just hear a 'No,' 'Not tonight,' or 'Doesn't fit.' Please don't take it personally or let it ruin your mood – it really can happen to anyone!

What should I wear for the Berlin Underground Party Tour?
You can't go wrong with the Berlin 'techno uniform' – all black! That means black sneakers or shoes, black jeans or pants, and a black t-shirt or top. What should I NOT wear for the Berlin Underground Party Tour?
For the Berlin Underground Party Tour, you should definitely avoid wearing football jerseys or any football club merchandise.

What shoes should I wear for the Berlin Underground Party Tour?
It's best to wear shoes you can comfortably walk and dance in. Think sneakers or flat boots. Flip-flops and high heels aren't really the vibe for a techno rave.

Before the tour, please grab a BVG single ticket AB to get from the bar to the club. Don't forget to validate your ticket! Alternatively, you can use the app BVG Tickets: Bus + Bahn Berlin (App Store / Google Play) to buy your ticket. To get back to your place or hotel after the Berlin Underground Party Tour, we suggest taking a Bolt or Uber.

Photos

Can I take photos during the Berlin Underground Party Tour?
You can generally take photos during the Berlin Underground Party Tour. If you want to snap pics with other tourgoers, please quickly ask for their permission first and let them know what you plan to do with the photos, like posting them on Instagram or whatever. In the bars, please be super careful that no random people who aren't part of our group end up in your photos, even in the background. Almost all Berlin clubs have a strict no-photo policy, and you'll need to cover your phone's camera before you go in. If you break the no-photo rule, you'll have to delete the picture right there (even from your trash folder) and you'll be kicked out of the club. Worst case, you could even get banned from the venue.

Coat Check

There's no coat check at the Späti or in the bars, so please keep your valuables with you and don't leave your jacket or bag unattended. The club will have a coat check available for a fee. It usually costs between 1.00 to 3.00 Euros per item.

Illness

I got sick and can't make it to the Berlin Underground Party Tour – do I get my money back?
If you get sick and can't make it to your booked Berlin Underground Party Tour, we can't offer a refund. But no worries, you can easily join the next tour once you're feeling better, with no extra charge!

ID Card / Passport

Do I need to bring my ID card or passport to the Berlin Underground Party Tour?
Please make sure to bring your original ID card or passport to the Berlin Underground Party Tour, as Berlin club doors are getting stricter about checking IDs. A copy or scan won't cut it. Other documents like health insurance cards aren't accepted.

Can I bring my driver's license instead of my ID card / passport?
Instead of your ID card or passport, you can totally bring your original driver's license. Bouncers often accept it to check that you're old enough.

Premium Berlin Underground Party Tour

What's the difference between the Berlin Underground Party Tour and the Premium Berlin Underground Party Tour?
Here's the lowdown on the differences between the Berlin Underground Party Tour and the Premium Berlin Underground Party Tour: For the Berlin Underground Party Tour , we meet up on Fridays and Saturdays at 10:00 PM at Spätkauf / Lateshop / Café ROJ 49 in Prenzlauer Berg. We'll kick things off with a free drink from the Späti, then head to a bar for some foosball and pinball, and finally hit a club. Club entry is included in the tour price (50.00 Euros per person). With the Premium Berlin Underground Party Tour, we meet on Fridays and Saturdays at 9:00 PM at Rigaer Kiosk in Friedrichshain. You'll get three drinks included throughout the evening, a Berlin club DJ will play exclusively for your group, and club entry is also part of the tour price (150.00 Euros per person). For both tours, a cool tour guide from Berlin's techno scene will lead you through the night.

Private Tour

Can I book the Berlin Underground Party Tour for my birthday, bachelor party, company party, Christmas party, or similar events?
You can totally book the Berlin Underground Party Tour to celebrate your birthday, bachelor/bachelorette party, or even for a company or Christmas party. To book a Private Berlin Underground Party Tour, you'll need at least six people, and it's 50.00 Euros per person. Just keep in mind that your club options might be a bit limited depending on who's in your group.

Rules

Can I come to the Berlin Underground Party Tour drunk?
Please come to the Berlin Underground Party Tour sober. If you're already drunk at the start of the tour, you might be excluded. We'll have plenty of time to grab drinks together during the tour, so no need to pre-game or pre-drink. Also, please make sure you're not too drunk or completely wasted by the last stop of the Berlin Underground Party Tour – you should still be able to understand the bouncer's questions and answer them clearly without slurring. Otherwise, you'll definitely be denied entry to the club.

Can I bring my own drinks to the Berlin Underground Party Tour?
Please don't bring your own drinks to the Berlin Underground Party Tour. Outside drinks aren't allowed at the Späti, in the bar, or in the club.
The bouncers will definitely notice if you have outside drinks when you get to the club door, as they'll check your bag and so on.
